ABOUT THE PRESENTATION:
Gayle Cohen, Vocalist and Keynote Speaker, is thrilled to be touring with her original seminar entitled, "The Healing Power of Music”. Join Gayle on this one-of-a-kind, autobiographical and musically interactive journey through her 40-year career. She will share first hand experiences and teach how Music is used to lift and heal Body, Mind and Spirit. Topics include: Everyday Stress, Loss of Spouse or Friend, Divorce, Chronic Illness, Terminal Illness, ADHD, Fear and Confidence Issues, Memory Difficulties, Addictions, and more.

Throughout the presentation, Gayle will also sing some of your favorite songs as she demonstrates the subject matter through melody and lyrics.

In addition, she will guide you through a beautiful relaxation exercise ... using music, of course!!

If desired, Gayle also offers a follow up workshop to the seminar entitled; "Acting Out."
ABOUT GAYLE:
Gayle is originally from New Jersey where she began studying voice and acting at 11 years of age. By 16, she was a professional Musical Actress performing in New York City.
While living in Chicago, Gayle studied Improvisation at the famed Second City. She also became a certified Crisis Intervention Counselor after which she joined a group known as the Mental Health Players. This began her love for working with physically and emotionally challenged adolescents and adults through the use of Music and Drama.

Gayle's theatrical endeavors include Musical Theatre, Improvisational Theatre, Mystery Theatre and Children's Theatre where she has served as both director and performer. She has been a featured vocalist for musical groups with varied styles ranging from Big Band, "Oldies" Bands, Broadway Revues, to the Contemporary sounds of today.

Off the stage, she is a private teacher of Voice, Acting and Public Speaking and enjoys sharing her knowledge of the arts with kids, adults and seniors.
In addition, Gayle is corporate consultant and trainer in the areas of Public Speaking, Communication and Presentation.
